The numbers of Intel skate on a 10-nm thick ice lake will be fast

Intel is about to produce 10 nm Ice Lake parts, which should be available by the end of the year. As expected, this launch will focus on low-power, mobile chips with quad-core components of 25W or less. For The Inquirer, Intel described the benefits of the new process as offering "three times faster wireless speeds, twice as fast video code conversion rates, and twice as fast graphics performance." There is little news on the 10nm on the desktop, so it may well be that there are still six months to a year before an announcement, although we will keep the ear open for any rumors.

Interestingly, they already boast the development of 7nm Xe chips for HPC applications and remind us of the upcoming release of Raja's discrete GPU, based on a similar design.
