The OnePlus 7 Pro shows its immense power, even if the new Android phone has not yet been officially launched. The latest leak for the new OnePlus phone is a pair of GeekBench benchmark scores tweeted by @rquandtand they display excellent performance, although not quite the best performance of any Android phone.
The first mark indicates a single-core score of 3,384 for the OnePlus 7 Pro Snapdragon 855 chipset. He also scored 10,494 for the multi-core rating. The second benchmark is higher in both cases, with a score of 3517 for a single core and a score of 10,811 for a multiple core.
These scores are undeniably fast, and they bode well for the OnePlus 7 Pro which is positioned to be one of the fastest and best phones. But, they do not win first place.
Are calibration tests everywhere?
The score of several scores that these OnePlus 7 Pro models have achieved is very close to the Geekbench scores obtained during our tests of the Snapdragon 855 chipset on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus. These two phones totaled 11,002 points on several hearts, giving them a slight advantage over what we see of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
It's the front of the pack right now, but it may not be the end of the story.
The disclosed markers only provide a small sample of the performance that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be able to handle, and they are unofficial because the phone has not been launched yet.
Since all phones do not score the same, it is possible that more and more OnePlus 7 Pro models are being evaluated, we will start to see the scores that surpass Samsung. In fact, a previous (though unconfirmed) benchmarking test from OnePlus 7 Pro would have been faster than Samsung's best performance.
With the launch of the phone scheduled for May 14 and expected sales shortly thereafter, we will not have to wait long to find out.
