This year Overwatch The anniversary event is in full swing, but it's not the only thing to celebrate. The latest feature of the game, The Workshop, has joined live servers with today's event and is again available for fans who want to unleash their creativity.

Blizzard first published the Workshop on the Overwatch Public test area in April. This feature allows players to create their own game modes and prototypes of heroes through an adapted version of the game's original scripting system.

Since the release of the workshop on the PTR of the game, Overwatch Fans have been busy creating new and unique game modes, such as Hammond Racing, Spies and Mercs and Ana Paintball. A user has created a gun game, similar to the Arms Race game mode of Counter Strike, which has been added to Overwatch'S' Arcade with today's update under the name of Hero Gauntlet.

To use Workshop on live servers, players must venture into the Game Browser tab of the game menu. From there, they will have to create their own game, click on the Settings tab and choose the Workshop function.

Lobby hosts can define the scripts for their custom games by choosing conditions and the resulting actions for each event. Once the settings are set, lobby hosts can invite their friends and start the game to try their new creation.

The codes of the first creations of PTR can always be used in the workshop. To import a code, players must click "Presets" in the custom game lobby settings menu and enter their code.
