The PAX trailer from Borderlands 3 was not as impressive as it was hoped

Gearbox has been teasing a new Borderlands game for quite a while – years, actually – and it did not really pretend that Borderlands 3 would be revealed at the studio's PAX East panel. Indeed, that's exactly what ended the event: Gearbox unveiled the first Borderlands 3 trailer.

But was it good? Borderlands 3 has been waiting for a long time; the last numbered entry date of 2012 and the last shooter of the series released in 2014. The expectations were therefore very high and the trailer was not necessarily effective. The trailer gives an overview of many new and old characters, including those who are presumably the new playable characters. But it was more of a tease than anything else, because we did not have specific details about how they played, how the gameplay changed from previous entries, and so on.
