The Pixel 4 has already been photographed in the wild

9to5Google received some pictures of the next Pixel 4 in the world. According to their informant, the photos were taken in London and they confirm what Google has already shown with his teasing earlier this week: there is a big square hump of camera in the back.

according to 9to5Google, the person who spotted the phone and pasted the photos also managed to see the front of the camera, which apparently would not have a crack, but a wide "front" with two cameras.

As you can see, the phone is in a case, and while it's pretty blurry, it looks like the classic Google case that was designed for previous Pixel phones. There is also a hole in the top of the case, presumably for a second microphone, a feature common to most smartphones nowadays for noise cancellation and stereo recording.

The photo comes four months before the planned launch of Pixel 4 in October. Google has been trying to disrupt the usual script of how leaks affect the hype cycle of a phone launch by teasing it itself earlier this week – but a real photo well before launching does not help. was surely not in the plans of the company.

Some had hoped that would mean an earlier version for the phone, but Verizon still seems to be waiting for a launch in October, as evidenced by Evan Blass in a protected tweet. We also expect the Pixel 4 to potentially include a tiny radar chip for the detection of hand gestures over the phone, based on Google's Project Soli technology.

You can see another picture of Pixel 4 at 9to5Google now. And you'll probably see a lot more than Google would like in the months to come, according to the story.
