When you think of new flash gaming consoles, you probably do not think too much about hard drives – what you store and save games.

But Cerny told Wired that the next hard drive of the PlayStation is "a real game changer". Why this? Because, for the first time, the next PlayStation will come with a solid state drive.

How is it different? It's much, much faster than a traditional hard disk drive. In a demonstration of the new disc, Marvel's "Spider-Man" of 2018 was loaded into a development kit for the next PlayStation – it demonstrated a reduction in loading time from 15 seconds to less than one second .

This could indeed change the situation. Imagine all the time you've lost waiting for the games to load – now, imagine that you're permanently erased.
