Sony unveiled the 2019 games for PlayStation Plus members, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness.

Announced on the PlayStation blog, the updated Modern Warfare Remastered first-person shooter can be played in 4K on PS4 Pro. The Witness, a first-person puzzle game set on a mysterious island, was designed by Braid's creator, Jonathan Blow. Both games will be available for download from March 5 to April 1, 2019.

In our review of Modern Warfare Remastered, we qualified the game as "awesome" by saying that it "brings a significant graphic improvement to the classic shooter".

In our review of The Witness, we called the game "masterpiece": "A beautiful, powerful and smartly crafted puzzle game that is full of mysteries to solve."

The PS Plus range of February 2019 included Hitman: The First Complete Season, For Honor, Divekick, Metal Gear Solid 4: The Firelands, Gunhouse and Red Aces. Hitman and For Honor will remain available to members until March 4, while the rest will remain until March 8. The month of March 2019, PS Plus will not include a new batch of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games.

Microsoft also unveiled its Xbox Games With Gold game lineup for March 2019, which includes Metal Gear Rising, Garden Warfare 2 and more.
