It's the shocking moment that police broke into a high-level skier in the midst of a blood transfusion.
Austria's Max Hauke - who is also a police cadet – was one of five skiers arrested during anti-doping raids at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefield yesterday.
Incredible images published by the Austrian publication Vorarlberg Online show the shameful star caught in the act with a needle on the arm before a race.
When asked if anyone else was at home, Hauke, 26, embarrassed, shakes her head.
He admitted to having spiked his blood and cooperated with the police in the investigation, confirmed a statement.
The Austrian media claim that Hauke and his anti-doping compatriot Dominik Baldauf are also qualified police officer cadets.
Hauke, who competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, was a training partner of the British Andrew Young.
The 27-year-old called him "disgusting" and called for a lifetime ban.
"I'm starting to feel nauseated, it's disgusting to watch," he said.
"There is no room for that in the sport and I did not realize he was doing it."
"It's hard to describe how you feel after seeing a friend cheat.
"I do not hate him, but at the same time, I do not want him in the cross-country circuit, you can not come back after doing that."
Trond Nystad, coach in the Austrian ski organization, was disgusted by the video.
"It hurts my stomach, it hurts my body when I see something like that, it's awful, it's hard to describe in words, it's disgusting." he declared.
Hauke was one of two Austrian skiers arrested for doping, with two Estonian athletes and one Kazakh.
The raids are intended to put an end to a "criminal operation" based in Germany, suspected of blood doping for years.
A 40-year-old sports doctor suspected of being the brains behind the organization was also arrested, police confirmed.
