Just like Fortnite, the epic games battle game of Epic Games, Respawn 's Apex Legends will offer a paid pass each season, allowing players to unlock new cosmetic items and other rewards. The first Battle Pass is scheduled for March 19 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Prior to its release, the EA publisher has released new details on this topic, including the cost.

The Season 1 Battle Pass can be purchased from the Apex Legends In-Game Shop for 950 Apex coins (about $ 10 / £ 8) – the same price as the Fortnite Battle Pass. EA also offers a Battle Pass package that will instantly unlock the first 25 levels, giving you immediate access to those rewards. This option will cost 2,800 Apex coins.

If you win a Battle Pass, you will automatically unlock three special skins as an additional bonus: Lifeline Revolutionary, Wraith Survivor and Mirage Outlaw. However, even if you do not buy the pass, you will be able to unlock a handful of rewards for free, including a Wild Frontier Legends skin and five Apex packs.

The Season 1 Combat Pass features 100 rewards levels to unlock, including weapon skins, banner frames, and XP boosters. You will also earn up to 1,000 Apex coins by leveling your pass in combat throughout the season, which will eventually allow you to recover the next season's Battle Pass without spending any real money. Tomorrow, the new playable character of Apex Legends will be launched the same day as Battle Pass: Octane, who had already been the object of a leak. However, Octane will not be included in the Battle Pass; it will instead be available for purchase separately for 12,000 legendary tokens or 750 pieces, much like Mirage and Caustic did.
