Epic Games is no stranger to a Battle Royale-based collaboration, but the prices for its latest clothing line with luxury fashion brand Balenciaga are likely to make even die-hard Fortnite fans cry.

The Fortnite x Balenciaga collaboration offers a number of in-game cosmetics that fans can purchase from the Item Shop. However, it’s the pricing of Balenciaga’s IRL clothing line that is sure to turn heads. Take the hoodie worn in the Shady Doggo skin pictured below – it’s the anthropomorphic dog dressed in white if you’re less familiar with the game. In addition to being able to purchase the skin in the game, fans can purchase a physical version of the same hoodie in the Balenciaga storeā€¦ as long as they only have $ 725 to spare.

It doesn’t end there though, the Balenciaga store has a variety of Fortnite branded merchandise that you can remortgage your home to own. Weighing in on the lighter side of the range, fans can pick up a Fortnite-branded Balenciaga hat for $ 395 while fans really looking to spend the best price on their merchandise can purchase a Fortnite-branded denim jacket for $ 1290. $.

Fortunately for some, the Balenciaga x Fortnite collaboration is much cheaper on the digital side. Between September 21 and September 28, fans will be able to unlock two free in-game collaboration-based sprays to complete the challenges set by Shady Doggo. Additionally, a number of Balenciaga-based items and four unique collaboration-themed skins (Unchained Ramirez, Shady Doggo, Fashion Banshee, and Game Knight) will be available for purchase in the Item Shop.

In other Fortnite collaboration news, Epic recently announced that Carnage will be the last Marvel character to enter the island. Joining as part of the game’s monster-filled eighth season, Spider-Man’s famous nemesis and Venom 2 villain is currently unlockable through the game’s Battle Pass.
