A few months after the launch of the Tesla Model Y, a prototype of the new electric crossover was seen in nature for the first time.

The company did not reveal where she took the photo, but it looks like it's at its headquarters on the outskirts of San Jose, in northern California.
Tesla may have visited the charging stations in the Chargepoint car park, including a 150kW CCS fast charging station.

This probably means that Tesla was filming promotional material with the prototype Y model.
When Tesla unveiled the Y model earlier this year, the automaker announced that the electric crossover would start at $ 39,000 and offer a range of up to 300 miles.
The company has since changed its pricing structure and the lowest version currently available for sale on its website starts at $ 48,000.
Tesla also said that it could be configured with up to 7 seats through an optional third row.
The company is directing the first model Y shipments from the autumn of 2020.
