The PS5 will only be launched after March 2020, but its price will be "attractive"

In its recent financial year-end report, PlayStation announced that it would not launch its next generation machine until March 31, 2020. PlayStation 5 will be launched in the next fiscal year.

Despite its set of advanced features, including 8K output and ray tracing, the PS5 would have an "attractive" price. Of course, there is no way to know for sure what that means. With the entry-level Nvidia RTX compatible cards costing over £ 300 alone, who knows where the attractiveness falls in the price spectrum.

With Sony ignoring the E3 2019 and their usual PSX show, it would appear that they are slowing the focus on the PlayStation 4 in anticipation of their next machine. However, with The Last of Us 2, Ghosts of Tsushima and more to come, PS4 owners still have a lot to look forward to.
