The Queen will perform at the Oscars 2019


Queen have ad The band will be composed of original members' guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, led by singer Adam Lambert. (The musicians have been playing together under the name of Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011.) This decision follows the success of Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic on the band and its leader, Freddie Mercury.

Bohemian Rhapsody is in place for five Oscars in total, including Best Picture, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Film Editing. Rami Malek is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Mercury; it's his first ever Oscar winner.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper make "Shallow" of the Oscars. A star is born. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings have interpreted "When a cowboy swaps his spurs for wings" (The Scruggs Buster Ballad), Jennifer Hudson singing "I'm Fight" (RBG) and a "surprise special guest" playing "The place where lost things go" (Mary Poppins is back). The Academy has not yet confirmed whether Kendrick Lamar and SZA would play or not. Black Panther "All the stars". The ceremony will not host for the first time in 30 years.
