None of Jeopardy's competitors – including reigning champion James Holzhauer – was able to identify Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse for $ 2,000.
The Double Jeopardy question – accompanied by a photo of the senator and the title of his book, which was pinned to the top of his Twitter feed since its release late last year – appeared in the episode Tuesday night of the famous trivia game hosted by Alex Trebek.
None of the three candidates attempted to answer, causing the triple beep to indicate that the time was up, followed by the response revealed by Trebek. The situation caused a tweet from Brent Scher, lead editor of Free Beacon:
