Bethesda has set a road map for its next open world shooter Rage 2 and there is a surprising amount of free DLC involved. While two paid content extensions are heading to the game, the rest of the material mentioned here is a bunch of extra bonuses that everyone will have access to. Even the strangely unpublished cheat codes of Rage 2 will receive additions in the coming months.
Most of the free content is relegated to cosmetics, but there will be things like "World Events" and whatever "Rageisode". As for the paid content, the first pack should arrive in August of this year. titled Rise of ghostsThis expansion will include new weapons, a new enemy faction, additional capabilities and vehicles, as well as brand new areas to explore. The second extension basically lists the same elements, although it does not have a defined release date (it simply says Fall).
Although triple-A cards tend to have post-launch content roadmaps now, at least Bethesda gives something back to people who do not want to earn extra money. Although I wonder why the game could not be delayed to include all this, at least it is not sold to us.
