During their interview on November 13, Stagliano was asked by the radio host about how “staged” the show was.
“So, something that I didn’t realize when I started the show is that the producers are trying to tell a story for each person,” she began. “Each competitor has a scenario. And it’s not something I really knew when I first went on the show.

At the end of the day, The bachelorette is a TV show, and its producers try to make it entertaining. That’s why every season is filled with characters in stock.
“What I didn’t realize at the time, what I couldn’t understand, was the fact that they are telling a story,” Stagliano continued. “I hope it’s a love story at the end. But they’re trying to tell a story. Each person has their own story. There’s always the one who lost a parent and he’s got that connection or someone has a daughter at home and he’s nervous to say it or there’s the virgin. Or whatever.

Bachelorette fans will remember when Crawley told his contestants their group date had been canceled. It looked like they had been waiting for hours. The looks on their faces can only be described as politely defeated.
Stagliano says Crawley didn’t cancel the date on a whim, even though that’s what it might have looked like. She wanted to spare her candidates another “wacky date”.

“We were supposed to shoot a date that day that I went to Palm Springs to film but we pulled the date out because it was another kind of crazy date,” she said. “She had already made the dodge ball meet, where it was the strip dodge ball, and she just didn’t want to do that to the guys again.” She said, ‘You know what, I have a great bunch of guys. I don’t want to do something stupid to them anymore. What I really want is to just hang out and get to know them and talk. ”

In a live Instagram video that Stagliano made after the episode aired, she explained in more detail the potentially embarrassing date that Crawley saved his men.
“The part of the day of our date – because it was going to be this game show thing about vaginas and whatever and where babies come from – Clare was like, ‘Look, I just put them on. through that wacky date the other day and I really don’t want to do this to them anymore. It was great fun and I think they had a lot of fun, but I’m not going to do it over and embarrass them. What I really want to do is be able to talk to these guys, get to know them, and have real, genuine conversations, ”she said.

In her November 13 interview with Nati, Stagliano said she “congratulated[s] Clare for standing up for what she felt and really putting that aside to protect the guys.
Still, the former manager wants viewers to remember that they don’t see everything.
“But, you know what, on a TV show you don’t see that,” she says. “Everyone gives Clare bullshit. Like, she just spent time with Dale, shame on her. It wasn’t like that at all.
