The Sims has always had the same meaning as the WB / CW network, and the series is no stranger to spooky packs, but it looks extremely good in 2019.
The whole "spell line" is probably the most lethal gift and the biggest draw. As in the previous life, you can either become a spell user (allowing you to use familiar companions, a brewery and some magic during the process, with a whole other skill tree), or to be born in the life of magic, then to transmit it. until your posterity. This whole process has been a long time coming, and for people who love to create generations of Sims, it should help spice up future races. The spellcatchers complete the vampires (who are already Sims 4) to balance the witch force.
Kingdom of magic It's a smaller DLC (it's a $ 20 package as opposed to a $ 40 expansion), so its Glimmerbrook neighborhood is smaller. That said, you can go to the portal located near the north-west edge to go to the "Magic Kingdom", which houses several activities (a garden, diagonal launcher alley and dueling ground). The old room is by far the most important because it allows easy access to familiar shopping and chopsticks: the vital essence of the group.
It's pretty easy to immerse yourself in downloadable content right off the bat, whether it's doing a spells-sensitive simulation, going straight to Glimmerbrook or buying equipment in this new kingdom. The opportunity to create Mr. C. The Escher Stairs could not have come at a better time, and the "not so scary but scary" theme is in the spotlight for the series.
Kingdom of magic is not as decisive as Island life, which is expected since it is half the price. That said, if you want more occultism in Sims 4is a decent way to meet this need, since "Vampires" is one of the only substantial offers in this department since 2015.
