The release date of the outside worlds seems to have leaked on the Steam page

Obsidian's Open World sci-fi role-playing game, The Outer Worlds, is preparing well, and its release is scheduled for this year. We can not wait to see it, and fortunately it should not be too long before we can all get our hands on this new game from the creators of the original Fallout titles. In fact, according to a release date now removed, the game could arrive in summer.

The Outer Worlds Steam page was updated last week with a release date of August 6, 2019 and was quickly removed on the same day. You can see the changes made to the page by yourself via Steam DB. Although this is not a confirmation, it is suspect that a specific date is added and quickly removed. And of course, this date is related to the PC version of the game, but we imagine that it will arrive on PlayStation 4 at the same time.

It seems likely that this is actually the release date, but we will have to wait and see. The Outer Worlds is the current coverage of Game Informer, and it is entirely possible that the cover of the publication ends with the confirmation of a release date – it would not be the first time. These are just speculations on our part, but strange things have happened.
