The remake of Final Fantasy 7 on PS4 on two discs, confirms Square Enix at E3 2019

The Square Enix press conference on E3 2019 kicked off with an exciting and detailed presentation of the Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4. The publisher gave us an overview of the game's enhanced combat system, which mixes real-time action with the Active-Time Battle system. We also learned that the game would be quite large, with game content of two Blu-ray discs.

We do not yet know exactly why this will require such a large amount of storage. Square Enix had previously stated that the remake of Final Fantasy VII would consist of several parts, but we did not know exactly what that meant. However, the first game (perhaps on disc?) "Will take place in the eclectic city of Midgar and present a totally autonomous gaming experience", according to a press release, effectively expanding the first stage of the original game.

This was not the only news of Final Fantasy VII coming out of the press conference; Square Enix also released a long version of the trailer revealed at the June 9th Final Fantasy concert. This one gave us a first glimpse of Tifa, as well as other images of the improved combat system.

Square Enix also unveiled two new special editions for the game, including a $ 330 first-class edition. All this follows the announcement on Sunday night of the release of the highly anticipated remake, which will be released exclusively on PS4, in March 2020. Producer Yoshinori Kitase said in the presentation that the team "will not disappoint. not your expectations ". You can read more in our pre-order guide for Final Fantasy VII Remake.
