Needless to say, this small sequence swept through the roof of the Anaheim Convention Center – but there are not more than 7,000 spectators present who were totally shocked by what has been shown on the arena's multiple screens. Daisy Ridley was also totally surprised that the scene was included in the Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker real, as she had revealed to us behind the scenes during the press in a hurry:
After shooting the scenes, Daisy Ridley obviously already knew that there was a point in Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker where Rey wears the special weapon and wears this costume. His surprise came from a different place – namely the shock that J.J. "King Of Secrets" Abrams would show such a huge thing to a colossal audience.
These emotions turned into something else when Daisy Ridley was with the audience at the D23 Expo because she really enjoyed hearing the reaction from the crowd. Everyone had their own answer, that it was a deep inspiration, a shout, or a "fucking shit!" (This last one was me ), but needless to say that there was a spectacular energy in the room.
Of course, as things stand, we do not really know what to do with Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker film. The plans of Dark Side Rey do not really have any particular context. This could easily be a directional mistake, and perhaps come from a sequence of dreams that shows what could happen if the main protagonist of the trilogy sequel went down the path of the villain – while in reality she never turns away from the hero.
