Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is known for being a tough guy, from his action-hero movie roles to his debut in the wrestling ring.

Looks like it's exactly what Fort Bliss's 1st Armored Division was looking for when it was thinking on behalf of one of their tanks.

"If you feel what the US tank division is cooking!" Wrote the 1st Armored Division last week in a tweet. "Thanks to the #IronSoldiers assigned to @Blackhawk_SQDN for appointing one of their tanks in homage to @TheRock.I hope the 'People's Champion' will see it and give you a shout. and a retweet!

The actor confirmed Friday on Instagram that the squadron had named the tank for him.

"I send a salute of respect and gratitude to the 1st Armored Division of Blackhawk Squadron for the honor of naming its tank (the world's most advanced) Dwayne" The Rock "Johnson", he wrote. "Heavy duty, bad ass, sexy AF and built to take care of business – but most of all, thank you all for your service.Thank you for the bone."

Since then, the image has received millions of likes and thousands of comments. While many congratulate Johnson, claiming that the 1st Armored Division made an "excellent choice", some dispute Johnson's praise of the tank.

"Well, I really love you as a human being and everything, but what good is a tank? It's about killing human beings and others." people, it is not admirable … I hope that it will not be used … God bless you all, peace and love, "commented an Instagram user.

Another said: "I'm not sure that the name of a destructive weapon carries such an honor."
