Warning Fast Furious fans: there is still tea to spill on the long-standing quarrel Between Dwyane “Le Rocher” Johnson and Vin Diesel.
Last month, Vin Diesel appeared on the cover of Men’s health, claim in a June 2021 cover story that he was responsible for Johnson’s performance as Luke Hobbs in Fast Five, citing the on “hard love” to which he contributed. Diesel’s justification for this so-called approach comes from the fact that Johnson, a former wrestler turned actor, was making his first appearance in the Fast Furious franchisee and that in order to play the Hobbs character, Diesel needed to give Johnson some advice.
“He was a difficult character to play, the character of Hobbs,” he said on the cover.. “My approach back then was a lot of hard love to help get this performance where it needed to be. It may be over a month later, but Johnson finally has an answer to Diesel’s claims. Laugh. “I laughed and I laughed out loud,” he said in a hollywood reporter cover story. “I think everyone laughed at that. And I will stop there. And that I wished them good luck. I wish them good continuation Fast 9. And I wish them good luck for Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast Furious the films they make that will be without me.

And, there is that. Is the quarrel over? Certainly not. The things between them are so too bad Johnson confirmed he wouldn’t appear in any Fast Furious films, with the exception of the potential sequelae of Hobbs & Shaw. So, yeah, it doesn’t look like these two will be reconciling anytime soon.
