This year has been quite strange for Microsoft's Windows Insider program. In February, Microsoft had invited some insiders to start testing the 20H1 update, which is expected to be available in the first half of 2020, and the whole spring passed to the company that gave information on 19H2 , the next update of Windows 10 before 20H1.
Even though the software giant has not yet explicitly said that, it seems that the company is ready to move to a major update of Windows 10 in the spring, followed by a minor update in the fall. And it seems that traces of what could become 21H1, the major update of Windows 10 released in the first half of 2021, are already in the wild.
Windows 10 build 19480 observation
The Italian blog Aggiornamenti Lumia reports today that Windows 10 build 19480 and newer versions are mentioned in the language packs available on the Microsoft Store. 19480 represents a considerable leap from the 18985 version of 19H1 released by Microsoft for Fast Ring Insiders yesterday.
Are the sets back?
WalkingCat, Microsoft's supplier with excellent track record, adds a bit more grain to the rumor by suggesting that Windows Sets could come back in those advanced versions that could already be tested internally. As a reminder, Windows Sets was a feature that would have allowed Windows 10 users to group applications, browser tabs, and so on, into a single window using a tabbed interface.
Oh? "Sets" is back in 19481? ?

The Redmond giant removed the Windows bundles from the preview versions of 19H1 last year, and Joe Belfiore of Microsoft said at the 2018 compilation that the feature would come back "when we think it's awesome. We would not blame you if you had forgotten this feature In the meantime, it would be amazing to see Microsoft recover it. The recent big new features of Windows 10 such as Cortana, 3D Paint, My People or Timeline do not seem to have really resonated with users, and the previous version of Windows Sets What we saw in the preview versions of 19H1 was not really intuitive, even if it aroused the love of experienced users.
The next Microsoft Surface event in New York is imminent, and although the hardware should be the focus, we could hear more about the future of Windows 10 during the event. The company could also use the event to announce the release date of Windows 10 version 1909 (19H2), as it had done last year for the October 2018 update .
