In the very first game of his NFL career, Will Dissly had three catches for 105 yards on five goals against the Chicago Bears. Barely three more targets scored in the second week, totaling 42 yards and scoring the second touchdown of his career. The Seattle Seahawks have unfortunately lost both games, but they probably found a tight end in which they were probably comfortable and confident.
Hiding his patellar tendon during week 4 and his status for week 1 of 2019 was immediately questioned, but Dissly returned Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings and it seems likely that he will be the TE1 when the Seahawks will host the Cincinnati Bengals in the regular season.
Some Seahawks do accounts. Will Dissly played 15 times for the first time since being injured. Kalan Reed, who was fighting for the nickel starting spot, only played 6 players while Akeem King and Jamar Taylor were 31 and 30 years old.

Although you do not find him in the goals table, Dissly has played 15 times in attack and he feels like the best full option for Seattle at this point. Nick Vannett never played as well as Dissly when he opened 2018 and Ed Dickson did not practice or play. Sunday night, only one target was tight, an unsuccessful attempt against Jacob Hollister.
The Seahawks will face the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday in the pre-season of Week 3, giving Dissly the opportunity to pull themselves together a bit more and maybe take a target or three.
