The last thing I bought that changed my life
A covering face. I have the whole collection now! It’s a very simple thing that we can all do to keep everyone safe.
What I keep in my fridge
Lots of ginger shots and essential cakes! I cooked a ton of it in my forties. I’m a cake and pie type girl. One of my favorite desserts is chocolate mousse, so I tried to perfect it. Hand-whipping is tough – I didn’t know how life-changing a blender was going to be until I bought one and started using one. I cannot go back.
Plus, anyone who knows me would tell you that I’m obsessed with carrots. But my favorite dish is a roast dinner. My mom makes the best roast dinner – turkey, stuffing, roasted potatoes, gravy – there’s nothing better than enjoying it with my family.
The best thing in my closet
Onesies and Hoodies! I can wear them with friends and family, while watching TV and when cooking. They are so cozy and comfortable. I also love my Converse! You can dress them up and dress them up. Comfort is the key, always. My favorite comfortable pants are the sweatpants. I have them in all different colors and patterns. I like them a bit oversized and loose.
How i relax
I love to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix documentaries. And I can’t stop watching 90 day fiancé. It’s so entertaining, and I find myself invested in these couples! I also like to take care of my fruit and vegetable garden which I cultivated during my forties. I find gardening so calming. This has been a new discovery over the past few months.
The beauty secret I tell everyone
Use castor oil for your eyelashes. It helps to maintain their health. Every little bit goes a long way. And don’t exfoliate every day! Twice a week is sufficient for most skin types – nothing more and you can overwhelm your skin.
The earrings that I wear all the time
I would say the asymmetrical heart shaped earrings are my favorite piece from Pandora. They are classic with a fun twist.
The best app on my phone
Spotify! I love listening to music. I was very in the Mamma mia soundtrack lately. It immediately puts me in a good mood.
My favorite self-care product
Pillow mist! And our Florence by Mills Dreamy Dew moisturizer. I literally wear it every morning before I put on my sunscreen.
My favorite movie directed by a woman
A good person by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. I love this film. It’s funny, heartwarming, and a great uplifting friendship movie that makes me laugh and cry. Plus the soundtrack is amazing.
