Despite defeat in the first game of the Mets against the San Diego Padres, Jacob deGrom managed to build on last week's lead with seven inning and seven out. He allowed only two runs on four hits and a walk, throwing 103 shots (72 for shots) in the 4-0 loss. It goes to 2-4 in season and remains without a win since April 3rd.
