The Shenmue 3 trailer is about defeating drunk thugs

The creator of the Shenmue series, Yu Suzuki, appeared on the PC Gaming Show stage before E3 2019 on Monday, offering a fresh look at Shenmue 3, the third (and last?) match of the 20-year-old saga.

The focus is on fighting. The new trailer shows that Shenmue's protagonist Ryo Hazuki is slightly beaten by a martial arts master, which appears to be a tai chi formation and a battle against a gang of drunken thugs, complemented by fast-paced events from Shenmue. Ryo's stilt dialogues and some awesome villains feel right out of the Dreamcast era, though Shenmue 3 certainly prettier than what the Sega console, the late 90's, was able to do.

Shenmue 3The latest trailer also had a bit of surprise: the game comes exclusively on Epic Games Store on PC.

Shenmue 3 will be published on November 19, after a short delay recently announced. The game also arrives on PlayStation 4.
