A professional wrestling star and a Hollywood actor collapsed at a show in Britain and passed away.

Silver King, whose real name is César Barron, was in action Saturday, May 11 at the Roundhouse in London. He died as a result of a cardiac arrest announced by the Guardian.

Barron, who was once a star competitor in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), an American federation, was 51 at the time of his death.

Disturbing images show the moment when the iconic wrestler, who also played alongside Jack Black in the movie "Nacho Libre", has trouble getting out of the mat, obviously in distress.

Juventud Guerrera, King's opponent, or Youth Warrior, is seen in the video trying to keep the match, apparently unaware that Barron was experiencing a medical emergency.

Guerrera is seen in the sequence of giving the fighter a last kick, after which King collapses and never gets up again.

The Youth Warrior pulls on King's jumpsuit and shoulder, rolling his opponent for the last pin, before celebrating his victory. Meanwhile, Barron stays still in the ring.

Roberto Carrera Maldonado, present at the show, told the BBC that he thought the collapse of Barron was part of the show.

"It was felt that it was staged," he said, according to the BBC. "Obviously, it was quite normal in the fight."

But when the referee's attempts to resurrect Barron failed, people jumped into the ring to help.

"We were all very shocked – we did not know what was going on," Carrera told the BBC. "I had the impression that they did not know what to do."

Barron was rolled into a reclining position in the ring surrounded by people until the arrival of medical teams.

The rest of the series has been canceled.

According to ITV News, Scotland Yard said the wrestler's death was treated as "not suspicious".

Condolences

The venue expressed condolences on Twitter, stating, "Last night, Silver King sadly lost his life during an event at the Roundhouse. At this point, the details are still under study and we have no more information to share. "

Those present tweeted their condolences.

"We watched in disbelief from the 3rd row. A sad ending for an incredible show. He went to do something that he liked. Rest in peace, great man #SilverKing #Luchadores #LuchaLibre, " wrote a commentator.

"The saddest news. We were there at the show in the afternoon.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones. Descanse in Paz, " wrote another.

Stuart Hughes, BBC Global Business Producer, filmed Barron during a morning performance.

The official Twitter account of Lucha Libre has published a photo of the wrestler subtitled "Rest in Peace".

The tweet said: "Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide joins the grief of the Luchistica family for the death of Cesar Cuauhtemoc Gonzalez Barron" SILVER KING ".

Lucha Libre is a Mexican professional wrestling federation that involves masked competitors, or luchadors, facing each other in choreographed battles.

Other tributes have flocked to other parts of the wrestling world.

Barron participated in the World Wrestling Championship Federation from 1997 to 2000.

He came from a family of wrestlers, his father being a popular fighter of Lucha Libre.
