Lucasfilm has unveiled a new Sith Trooper design that will debut at the movies in "Star Wars: The Skywalker Ascension" in December – but it will land on Earth next week for Comic-Con International: San Diego.
In full Disney style, a line of Sith Trooper products is expected to debut at CCSD this year. Described by the studio as "the next evolution of imperial / first order soldiers," these Sith Troopers merge the classic Stormtrooper design with Imperial Royal Guard outfits.

"Its aesthetic is truly unique," said Lucasfilm's archivist, Madlyn Burkert. "And it has subtle connections with previous stormtrooper designs, which I think fans will love to discover."

The Sith Trooper merchandise to debut at the SDC includes a Geeki Tiki, a Mini Muglet T-shirt, Fifth Sun, a Funko Pop!, A Hasbro Black Series figure, a hat, a hairpin, a Hoy figurine, and a backpack. Loungefly, a children's costume from Rubi, a trading card game and a bookmark.
"Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" will be released on December 20th.
