NEAR BROWNSVILLE – Next week, SpaceX will make its first unstamped test flight.

A special engine called Raptor engine is being installed in the hopper.

SpaceX's Starhopper prototype vehicle will be tested at the Boca Chica Beach site.

According to the company, it will not exceed 20 meters high.

SpaceX performs this test on several projects designed to push the hopper's boundaries.

SpaceX also says that they will conduct checks of the ground system and perform a short static firing test.

According to a tweet from CEO Elon Musk, they hope to do it on Tuesday, but the date can be postponed.

SpaceX is working with the City of Brownsville to establish a security zone perimeter around the test site.

Signs should be put in place to inform the community when the test will begin.

Cameron County will also provide online updates on the closure of roads and beaches.
