Now that the iPhone 11 and its Pro counterparts are official, Apple's biggest competitors will soon unveil their brand new devices that will compete directly with the new iPhones. We're looking at Google's Pixel 4 and OnePlus OnePlus 7T Series. But it is Huawei who is the most important rival of the year for the iPhone 11, the Mate 30 Pro, which will be announced next week. The phone has already been leaked several times, but we have a lot of new discoveries about Huawei's next flagship product, including the phone's data sheet.

Why is the Mate 30 Pro more attractive than the other new flagship Android products that will be launched next month? Well, we have three very good reasons. First, the Mate 30 Pro is the only Android phone to integrate processors based on the same architecture as the A13 Bionic chipset that powers the iPhone 11 phones. Second, the Huawei phone will provide a camera system that will likely be among the best on the market. Third, Huawei took a lot of risk with the Mate 20 Pro last year and is likely to do the same with the Mate 30 Pro this year. This means that we will see features not available on other devices in the competition, such as an exciting new waterfall.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the tweets of someone who calls himself @ Rodent950, which posted photos of the so-called "Mate 30 Box", as well as the full specifications of the phone.

First, it's the retail box shown in the following images that lists some of the phone's hardware:

The Mate 30 will be the cheapest version of the Mate 30 Pro, which will compete with the iPhone 11. According to the second image, the phone will feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Even more interesting, the following tweet, which lists the main features of the Mate 30 Pro:

The phone will feature up to four separate rear-facing lenses, including two 40-megapixel cameras (main lens and wide-angle lens), an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a flight-time sensor (ToF). At the front, there is a 32 megapixel selfie camera, an ultra-wide camera and a ToF sensor.

Front cameras will also support Huawei Face ID 2.0, a 3D face recognition that is faster and more secure than the Mate 20 Pro. Other biometric data include a built-in fingerprint optical sensor, as well as heart rate and respiratory rate sensors. It is unclear what this respiratory rate sensor could accomplish. The Mate 30 Pro will feature the Kirin 990 5G chip that Huawei launched last week, a 7n EUV chip just like the A13 Bionic. The processor is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory.

The same author published a teaser of the design of the Mate 30 Pro, claiming that the creation of screen protectors for stunts would be rather tricky:

The Mate 30 series will be unveiled on September 19th in Munich and will be available in stores in the weeks that follow.
