The hostage crisis in Georgia, which lasted nearly 20 hours, reportedly ended Friday morning with three dead and two policemen injured.

The alleged gunman, a teenager and a pregnant woman were found dead in a Henry County home after an exhausting arm wrestling with police who began Thursday morning, reported the WSB-TV channel in Atlanta.

Police confirmed to a WSB journalist that the alleged gunman had been killed. It was unclear when the pregnant woman, whose family members said she was the shooter's girlfriend, and her 16-year-old son were killed, according to the reporter.

On Thursday morning, two policemen were wounded in a shootout while the suspect remained barricaded in the house with at least one hostage, the Henry County Police Department said in a press release.

Police officers were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital "in serious condition," police said in a statement. Smith later said that they were "stable" and had to survive.
