New Jersey moviegoers had the surprise visit of a superhero over the weekend.
Actress Brie Larson, star of "Captain Marvel", appeared at the cinema Saturday night in Clifton, New Jersey, about fifteen kilometers west of New York.
The North Jersey Record reports that clients of the AMC Theater Theater did not initially appear to notice Larson, who was wearing a Captain Marvel tracksuit. But soon, her appearance caused a sensation, and many photos posted online showed her posing with fans and even serving popcorn from a concession stand.
Musicians picket
Striking musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra picket pickets instead of piccolos after a lack of progress in contract negotiations.
Musicians marched Monday in front of an orchestra in front of a picket line, a day after an afternoon performance and negotiations that lasted until Sunday evening. They say management is trying to reduce their pension benefits after nearly a year of negotiations.
The contract expired last September and was extended until last weekend.
Woodstock Museum
A bass guitar and handwritten lyrics will be among the artifacts of Woodstock's original concert to a museum.
The museum located on the concert site in upstate New York State has announced that it will open for the 2019 season on March 30 with an exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the concert.
The Bethel Woods Museum indicates that the exhibition will include instruments, clothing, equipment, art and photography. Highlights include a bass guitar and a tunic of Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane and the handwritten lyrics of "Goin 'Up the Country" of Alan Wilson canned heat.
