It's the worst way to lose a game of rivalry.
RELATED, RELATED, RELATED: Fans are late
The CyHawk trophy is officially in the hands of the Hawkeyes, but it was not an easy victory, until the last moment. The state of Iowa, down one point, forced a Hawkeye punt a minute and a half from the end. On the punt, the returning man was trucked by his own TEAM, which caused a runoff that was engulfed by the Hawkeyes.
You can not write this if you have tried! Just as he was trying to win the battle, the Cyclones returning ghost met him hard and knocked him down.
It's amazing. The state of Iowa needs a FG with 90 seconds and forces Iowa to hit. A player from Iowa State has just OBLITED his own punt return by flipping the ball. pic.twitter.com/x7VXa5r5IS

The ball bounces off the back of number 2 and is quickly recovered by Iowa, who managed to milk the clock to win the victory.
Despite all the lightning, hail and fans that invade the field, it is without a doubt the most strange piece to lose in this year's rivalry fight.
