It is also intensifying its efforts to limit the marketing of e-cigs to teenagers.
New York State Bans Sale of Flavored Electronic Cigarettes

Governor of New York State, Andrew Cuomo, has announced an "emergency measure" that will ban the sale of flavored electronic cigarettes. This decision will see the state health department commissioner hold an urgent meeting with the Public Health and Planning Board to implement the ban. Electronic cigarette manufacturers and stores are trying "intentionally and recklessly" to appeal to a younger audience, Cuomo said.

He pointed to data from the Department of Health showing strong increases in the use of electronic cigarettes among teens. About 27% of high school students apparently used e-cigarettes, 160% more than in 2014, according to officials. The governor also referred to a survey conducted in 2017 according to which 19% of teens in this state had tried e-cigs because of their aroma, with 27% citing aroma as a reason to continue smoking. He went on to blame companies that falsely claimed that e-cigs were safe, noting that early studies suggested that they could lead to cardiovascular and respiratory problems.

E-cigs producers will have to sell "simple" e-cigs in one of the most populous states of the country. They risk new lawsuits if New York believes that their sales tactics still invite teenagers too much.

More power, better cameras. (Duh).
More Pixel 4 leaks, in case you missed all the others

Another day, more close-up shots. Vietnamese Phone Store D Store Mobile has sent nearly two dozen photos of a pre-version of Pixel 4 XL to The Verge, and these seem to confirm some of its previously mentioned specifications. This is particularly a main rear camera that takes pictures with an aperture of f / 1.73 brighter (compared to f / 1.8 on the pixel 3). The telephoto camera's specifications (yes, more cameras on this model) are not available, but you can safely assume that improvements will be made to the photos in low light and some close-ups.

This gadget really did a good thing.
This week in the history of technology: Apple disconnects the iPod classic

It has been a little over five years since Apple destroyed the iPod Classic (now called iPod because it 's about the One True iPod). His death, September 9, 2014, was not a big surprise: sales have dropped for years because the iPhone has exceeded in terms of sales and features. Indeed, the idea of loading files from a computer to a hard drive to listen to music was totally anachronistic in 2014. Apple Music had not arrived yet, but Spotify was quickly becoming the medium most important to listen to music. Since we all had a smartphone, having another device for music no longer made sense. Nathan Ingraham tells the story.

The S Pen shines, but the keyboard shell and tablet desktop software still need work.
Galaxy Tab S6 review: Good notepad, bad notepad

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 from Samsung is a powerful and durable Android tablet that is excellent until you try to use it as a replacement for a laptop. Its Samsung keyboard cache and DeX desktop software require a lot of work before you can actually multitask on the system. But if all you need is to edit documents and spreadsheets and respond to e-mails and live chats, the S6 tab is more than powerful. Plus, the S Pen is a really useful tool for people who like to jot down random thoughts and have a device that organizes them automatically.

But wait, there is more …
