Paramount closes the summer with another sci-fi show. In a dystopia where the rule of law has failed, a private security company made up of talking dogs has launched a successful takeover, taking control of the tiny hamlet of Adventure Bay. Now Rubble, Chase, Skye, and the others are on a goal of “helping” a bigger city. Meanwhile, off-screen, adult humans are faced with a terrifying decision: to accept their children’s desire to watch dogs repeat a series of hypnotic slogans, or to pretend such Paw Patrol the film exists. Randall Park, Dax Shepard, Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler Perry and Kim Kardashian are among the celebrities who have already pledged their loyalty (and their voice) to the new order of puppies.
