The latest list was released on August 24 when Obama tweeted a collection of songs that he enjoyed with Michelle during the summer. "With the end of the summer, here's a sample of what Michelle and I listened to – some new, some old, some fast, some slow," wrote the former president on Twitter . "Hope you enjoy."

Let's take a closer look at the summer reading list of the Obamas.

The Obamas summer playlist includes 44 songs.

As Obama has said, the songs include old and new hits. The first song on this list is Drake's 2016 hit "Too Good," which stars Rihanna. Other hot spots on the list include Frank Sinatra's "I've got you under the skin", Lauryn Hill's "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" and "I'll love you more than you'll know" from Donny Hathaway .

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's "SeƱorita" are among the most recent. Lil Nas X's monster was also shot on "Old Town Road", which shattered Billboard records, setting a 19-week record at the top of the charts.

Some artists panicked on the list

At least four people on the list could not believe their music had caught the attention of the Obamas. Lizzo, whose song "Juice" occupies the sixth place, had just tweeted about the former president before publishing the collection, claiming he was the first presidential candidate for which she voted.

"WE ARE FRIENDS NOW, I DO NOT HAVE TO SET THE RULES !!!"

At the same time, Maggie Rogers, whose song "Burning" described the 4th position, responded to the news on Instagram with a message showing her screaming. "Interrupting my social holiday celibacy for this important @barackobama message," she said.

"Meeting President Obama is on my list, but it will definitely work for now," added 2 Chainz. The Obama has inscribed his song "It's Vibe" at No. 23.

Lil Nas X also reacted to the moment by tweeting a photographed picture of Obama wearing a cowboy suit.

Other playlists of Obamas

Before revealing their summer reading list, Michelle shared a Valentine's Day reading list in February 2018, which she had created for her husband. "Merry #ValentinesDay to my one and only, @BarackObama," she wrote on Twitter. "To celebrate this occasion, I dedicate a little playlist of Valentine's Day!"

Entitled "Forever Mine", the playlist features love ballads, including Justin Timberlake's "Until the End of Time", Daniel Caesar's "Get You" and John Legend's "All of Me".

As fall approaches, it looks like Obama will soon share another playlist. But for the moment, you have many options that should satisfy you. Good listening!
