A man was charged with murder in the 9-year-old Trinity Love Jones, whose body was found in a sports bag in Los Angeles, authorities said.
Emiel Lamar Hunt, 38, has been charged with murder and charged with murder and is expected to be brought to trial later that day, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said.
The girl's body was discovered by county workers on March 5th near an equestrian trail at Hacienda Heights, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced. Investigators found Hunt Saturday morning sleeping in his car in a parking lot near the San Diego International Airport. He was arrested without incident, announced the sheriff's office.
