TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Taiwanese electronics brand Acer Inc. unveiled its Planet9 open electronic sports platform in Berlin on Wednesday (September 4th).
The next generation system has been described as an open community in which groups of players can cooperate as a team.
While the project is still in the test phase, players can join the party as of January 30, announced the Central News Agency. The new system focused on teamwork and allowed players to join friends of the same talent, while online tournaments were also a key element, said Acer officials. Players will also be able to seek advice from a coach on an individual basis.
At this event, the company also unveiled new Nitro Series monitors and a specially designed massage chair for players, the Predator Thronos Air.
