The teardown of iFixit takes a look inside the 10+ 5G note

Like the iPhone X, the Note 10+ positions the motherboard at the top of the phone. Although this allows the battery to be wider, this requires cables between the mother and the daughter board. These block access to the battery. They can be moved to the side, but they will add a challenge to repairs.

Speaking of repair, iFixit stresses that every repair requires the takeoff of the fragile glass back cover. It is difficult to replace the stuck battery and the current screen repairs "require complete disassembly or replacement of the half of the phone". Overall, iFixit assigns a score of 10 out of 10 to score 10+.

The device is also equipped with a new vibration engine, which breaks the trend of Samsung to use the same circular motor in all the ringtones of his phone. As iFixit says, it could mean that Samsung is taking haptic feedback more seriously – or not. And of course, there is no headphone jack or Bixby button.
