“These are my three inexpensive laundry tips that really work,” Chantel posted on Instagram.

The first trick where mom swears to always put her sheets the right way up on the bed.

“Save time on your sheets by making sure the labels on the fitted sheets always go in the lower right corner,” Chantel said.

The second thing you can do to prevent wrinkles and creases on your bedding is to spray tap water from a spray bottle as you fold the sheets to eliminate the need for ironing.

The idea is to lightly moisten the sheet rather than soaking it, and the reason it works is that the combination of water and the tension of the stretched sheets works like a DIY steamer.

Run your hand firmly over the folds, smooth them out, then let the sheet dry before putting your bedding back on top.

Finally, Chantel said she always “blew” her pillows in the dryer with a tennis ball for five minutes.

When pillows are placed alone in the dryer, the materials inside can clump together and make your pillow flat.

On the other hand, when you put a tennis ball inside, the tennis balls hit and inflate the pillow as it dries.

More than 8,000 people who viewed Chantel’s video said they would try her tricks at home.

“I love these hacks, thanks so much for sharing,” one commenter wrote.

“Wow, the turn of the water is a game-changer. And who knew about the labels? ‘ another added.
