The trailer, gameplay and screenshots of the Sonic Racing team customization; series of short films of two-part animation announced

Sega has released a new trailer, gameplay and screen shots for Team Sonic Racing presentation of the customization features of the game.

In Team Sonic RacingPlayers can customize their vehicles with modification modules, power ups, and other customization options such as paint job changes, new vehicle coatings, and custom horns. By accumulating credits in the game, players can unlock coins in the garage for the front of their car, rear or wheels, which affect vehicle performance and handling.

In addition, Sega announced a new two-part animation series called Overdrive of the Sonic Racing team. Followed by 2018 Sonic Mania Adventures, Team Sonic Racing presents characters from the game such as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rogue, Amy, Big the Cat and Chao (Neutral Chao, Hero Chao, Dark Chao and Omochao). The first part, "Dangerous Distractions", is available now.

Team Sonic Racing is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on May 21st.
