The official trailer of "Bombshell" is available and offers viewers a first glimpse of Charlize Theron, almost unrecognizable, with Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman, Gretchen Carlson, and Margot Robbie, Fox News Producer, Kayla Pospisil.
In the trailer for "Bombshell", which chronicles the facts that preceded the sexual harassment charges against Roger Ailes and his subsequent downfall, Robbie starts the clip as he strolls through the offices of the news channel. The attention of a reporter (Kate McKinnon) on his way to the elevator. Robbie enters the elevator by pressing the button on the second floor. Theron and Kidman join him soon. All three have a few seemingly awkward moments together before leaving. Theron stays in the elevator, scowling while the other two women enter the Fox News office.
"Hot here," said Kidman before leaving.
The film also stars John Lithgow in Ailes, Malcolm McDowell in Ruper Murdoch, Allison Janney, Mark Duplass, Connie Britton, Alice Eve and Rob Delaney.
"Bombshell" was written by Charles Randolph and directed by director Jay Roach. The film was originally released by Annapurna, but was dropped by the studio and Lionsgate took over.
"Bombshell" will be released in theaters on December 20, 2019.
