Mark Meer joins the fray
How long have we been collectively excited Mass Effect? 2017 Andromeda probably right? Well some of you were never turned on Mass Effect, but you don’t count.
Well N7 day happens every year no matter how many Mass Effect move the needle now, and it just got a little more exciting for the fans. Over the weekend, “Mr. Shepard ‘himself, Mark Meer, has announced that he will be joining the N7 Day stream event which will take place on November 7 (as is customary) at 11am PT. We are told to “stay tuned for the link”, in case you are curious.
Meer reconfirms that Jennifer Hale (Ms. Shepard) will be part of the event, along with voice actors Kaidan Alenko, Liara T’Soni, Jack, Grunt, Ashley Williams, Samantha Traynor, Mordin Solus and Legion. Of course there are a few huge names sprinkled across this innocent list, like VA veteran Steve Blum. BioWare developers Karin Weekes (editor) and Patrick Weekes (writer) are also on hand.
This is billed as a “special” event, but it could clearly just be “special” due to the emotion of this cast; and because of the fact that several of them seem to keep in touch over the years. Or, we could finally get it Mass Effect remaster announcement we’ve all been waiting for.
Do I want to replay the trilogy on a next-gen console, with potentially seamless save-transfer integration? Yes Yes.
