The UFC officially releases BJ Penn as a result of a series of street fights

B.J. Penn is no longer a fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). That's what Dana White, president of the company, says: Kevin Iole that the promotion is officially separated from the former lightweight champion and welterweight.

This decision comes after White had announced his intention to ban Penn from fighting inside the Octagon after showing videos showing "The Prodigy" knocked at his back during the night. a street fight in Hawaii, then come back and take revenge a little later.

A few months ago, Penn had been involved in another street fight, adding to his list of incidents out of the cage. Penn was expected to return to Nik Lentz later this year, although many questioned the UFC's decision to allow him to continue fighting.

That's because "The Prodigy" has given up his last seven fights and has not won in nine years, proving his best days are really behind him. Nevertheless, the promotion was ready to ignore that and allow Penn to argue goodbye. But now, we will not give him this opportunity.
