The US unlocked Galaxy S9, S9 + now receive the Android pie, an update of the user interface – Droid Life

Last still. The US unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + now receive the update for Android Pie and One UI.

That's the same update that has hit the Verizon, AT & T, Sprint and T-Mobile models in recent weeks, but as we wrote last week, she had not been pushed to unlocked models. It should be noted that the unlocked models in the US are the test models: they run Android Pie and One UI in beta since last November.

The update will appear under the names G960U1UEU3CSA8 (S9) and G965U1UEU3CSA8 (S9 +) and weighs about 1.7 GB if you come from Oréo and not Pie betas. If you're on the beta, we see suggestions that the update will run around 288 MB. I have not received it yet, so I can not confirm.

To check the update, go to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install.

Long live Jacob!
