A certain sicko, pretending to be a joker, thought that it would be fun to lick a pint of ice cream and put it back in a Walmart freezer. The incident was filmed, quickly became viral and caused a real frenzy on the Internet. Now, to protect us from similar and horrible human beings, the police protect the Blue Bell section.

On Friday, the Keller Police Department presented a photo of two officers guarding the frozen hallway in a local grocery store. "The only Blue Bell ice cream licked here in Keller this holiday weekend will be the one you've already bought," they wrote on Facebook. "Corporal Clark and Officer Bryans are watching this. #NotOnOurWatch."

They were not the only ones in high alert either. A security officer from a Corpus Christi Walmart, armed with a water pistol, was photographed patrolling this section.

After Blue Bell got wind of the original video, which garnered more than 13 million views on Twitter, they promised to identify the criminal ice cream. "This type of incident will not be tolerated," writes the company on its website. "Food safety is a top priority and we strive to provide a safe product and maintain the highest level of trust of our consumers."

Not only had she been arrested, but without the offender's juvenile status, she could have faced 20 years in prison (!!!!).

And while the added security may seem exaggerated, the incident – which is a crime, fyi – has fueled similar actions. A 36-year-old Louisiana was also filmed licking and biting (oddly, we know) a cardboard before throwing it in the freezer.

You have to be careful there. The grocery stores are, Apparentlyfilled with psychos.
