The video shows Kristaps Porzingis on the street

Kristaps Porzingis seems to have been involved in some kind of physical altercation over the weekend, as the Dallas Mavericks star was covered with blood running down her face and hand.

Details were rare at first, but a video that surfaced on Twitter on Sunday shows Porzingis walking in the street with blood on the face. He seemed to be angry about something and pushed a woman out of the way at one point. The police could be heard trying to dispel the situation.

Many Twitter users said Porzingis had "jumped" to his hometown in Latvia. Neither the Mavericks nor the NBA commented on the situation on Sunday morning.

Porzingis has repeatedly made headlines for extrajudicial reasons since he was traded to Dallas by the New York Knicks, although his lawyer insists that the allegations that surfaced against him there is a months are completely unfounded.
