The Vikings sign 8 selections of the 2019 draft

EAGAN, Minnesota – The Vikings announced Thursday that eight of the 12 players selected by Minnesota less than a week ago had signed their rookie contract.

The following drafts were signed upon their arrival at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center for the rookie minicamp this weekend:

TE Irv Smith, Jr., Alabama | Second round, 50th overall

RB Alexander Mattison, State of Boise | Third round, 102nd overall

G Dru Samia, Oklahoma | Fourth round, 114th overall

LB Cameron Smith, Southern California | Fifth round, 162nd overall

S Marcus Epps, Wyoming | Sixth round, 191st overall

T Olisaemeka Udoh, Elon | Sixth round, 193rd overall

WR Dillon Mitchell, Oregon | Seventh round, 239th in total

WR Olabisi Johnson, State of Colorado | Seventh round, 247th overall

Vikings recruits will participate in three days of training and meetings with other players who have been invited to the team headquarters on a trial basis.

Adam Thielen (in 2013) and Chad Beebe (last year), Pro Bowl receiver, are among the players who signed with the Vikings after participating in minicamps on the test.
