While the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers have been most closely linked with a potential James Harden trade, Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that the Golden State Warriors have also investigated Harden.
Discussions have not yet really progressed between the Rockets and the Nets or Nets.
“I think several teams have inquired,” Charania said on the Complex Load Management podcast. “The Warriors at one point called out James Harden.
Because Harden can’t become a free agent until 2022, the Rockets are in no rush to trade him.
The Rockets are looking for a star-level player or a high-rotation player, possibly other offers and as many draft picks and trade picks as possible.
“I heard that one a bit before Klay’s injury,” Golden State Interest Charania said.
